9 Books I’m Planning To Read During The Summer Months
Despite some lingering gloom, it’s definitely starting to feel like summer π. Each season, I like to put together a list of books I’d like to read during those three months. Sometimes I’m able to get through all of the books on my list. Other times, I only get through most. Either way, I always find it helpful to have a reading list to guide me through the season. It’s my way of keeping things simple π.
Although I’m still at the tail end of My Spring 2023 Reading List, I’ve put together my new reading list. This summer, I’m looking forward to reading a lot of new realeases. I’m happy to share my summer reading list with you.
In no specific order, these are the 9 books on my Summer 2023 reading list:

Mrs. Nash’s Ashes by Sarah Adler
Due to cancelled flights, Millie and Hollis end up on a road trip from D.C. to Keywest. They’re not strangers, yet not exactly friends. Suddenly, it’s Just the two of them … and Mrs. Nash’s ashes on the road for days. I’m looking forward to their adventure.

Long Time No Sea by Portia MacIntosh

Such great picks here! I seriously can’t WAIT to get my hands on The Celebrants. I absolutely adored The Guncle so I’ve been itching to read this release. I’m suuuuper far down in the list of holds at my library but I’ll get it eventually!
Lucy
Thank you! I’m looking forward to The Celebrants, and will likely opt for the audiobook since it’s narrated by the author himself. Hopefully a library copy will become available to you soon.

Glad we have some books in common for our summer reading π. The setting and premise for the latest by Higgins seems perfect for reading while on vacation.
Sam@WLABB
I read three of these, and they were solid. The Celebrants had me sobbing. It was emotional for me. The Little Italian Hotel was touching (as expected), and I liked Mrs. Nash too. Hope you find lots of hits
Lucy
Thank you! I’m looking forward to reading each of the books on my list, but now especially those three you read and enjoyed.

I always love seeing other bloggers’ summer reading lists (although they do always end up adding to my own!). You have a lot of fun romances on your list; I haven’t read any of them, but I do want to read the new Kate Bromley. There are several others I want to check out now, too. Happy summer reading! π
Lucy
Thank you! Glad you found some good ones on this list π.
