I loved reading about Macy and Elliot’s story! It’s a beautiful journey of friendship, love, trust, and second chances.
This is more than a love story. It’s Macy’s coming-of-age story, as she finds her way in life after experiencing significant losses. The story alternates between timelines (teenage Macy and present day Macy). It really gave me a sense of her background, feelings, and what she experienced.
I’ve enjoyed other books by this writing duo, but this one definitely stands out from the others. In this one, there’s a lot of depth to the story and the characters. The storyline is tender and complex. I simply didn’t want this story to end.
This is the kind of story I might reread in the future, simply because I’d like to revisit Macy and Elliot’s journey.
