My Overview
I really enjoyed this love story with a focus on the expectations and requirements bridesmaids experience for the love of friends. Over the span of a few months, life takes Lily Weiss on an unexpected and chaotic adventure.
When Lily was asked to be a bridesmaid at her friend’s wedding, she never expected that was only the beginning of a long line of brides who’d ask too. All of a sudden, Lily was signed up to be a bridesmaid at five weddings! How could everyone except Lily be getting married at once? How could Lily survive being a bridesmaid at five weddings in the same summer? Those were the questions constantly running through Lily’s head.
Not surprisingly, it’s not long before Lily and her bank account are exhausted. So, having nowhere to vent about the ridiculous expectations and demands from the brides and bridesmaids, she decided to start a blog. Along the way, she also befriends one of the groomsmen. Needless to say, by the end of summer her life could never be the same.
What I enjoyed most about this story were the character development and positive message. Considering the amount of characters involved, I’m glad that each was unique and added depth and hilarity. As funny as the story was, it also had a great message. Overall, this is a story about love, family, and friendships.
My Recommendation
I listened to the audiobook and also read the Kindle edition at times. I recommend the audiobook. This is my first book by this author, and I can’t wait to read more from her. The witty writing style and character development are what I’m expecting to continue to enjoy in her stories.
Have you read any books by this author?

Being in 5 weddings would be expensive! I think I’d want to elope if I had my own wedding if I had a string of that many weddings! Sounds like a fun book!
Lucy
It was super expensive and the demands from all the brides soon got out of hand. Fun story!
