I didn’t know a lot of the songs Dolly talked about, but enjoyed the entire book nonetheless. Dolly has lived an impressive life, and I appreciate the stories and wisdom she shares in this book. It’s inspiring to listen to her share about her dreams, struggles, and accomplishments. I enjoyed her humor and the conversational way she delivered her story.
I listened to the audiobook because I wanted to listen to Dolly tell her stories. I also got the Kindle edition, which enhances the book with lyrics and pictures. However you read this book is fine, as long as you do. By the end, I think you too will agree Dolly truly is a songteller.
