Hallowe'en Party book
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

At a Halloween party, thirteen-year-old Joyce boasts that she witnessed a murder a few years ago. She’s known for telling tall tales, so know one seems to believes her. Suddenly, she’s found dead and what follows is the mystery and investigation of her murder. In steps Detective Poirot, ready to investigate and solve the mystery.

It had been a long time since I’d read an Agatha Christie book, and I picked this one up on a whim. Unfortunately, this book wasn’t as good as I’d expected. The plot felt repetitive and the characters weren’t all that interesting. It was hard to get past that, since a lot of characters were investigated for the crime.

While this story didn’t necessarily make me want to read more in this series, I still enjoyed it overall. This was a good one for Halloween weekend 🎃.
