These Almond & Date Squares are easy to make, filling, and last for a few days in the refrigerator. The almond butter, dates, and coconut flakes make these a flavorful snack.
1/2cupcoconut oil, meltedAllergies: use different oil
Instructions
In a medium mixing bowl, combine all ingredients (in the order listed).
With a spatula, mix all ingredients until well incorporated.
Pour mixture into a square glass dish. With the spatula, press the mixture until it's flat and even.
Cover the dish and store in a refrigerator for 1 hour.
Cut into 16 squares. Enjoy!
Store snack squares in a refrigerator.
Notes
Regarding the oats:I use quick-cooking steel cut oats.Regarding the glass dish:I use a 8in x 8in glass dish because it makes it easy to cut the pieces into equal sizes. I'm also easily able to cut the squares without damaging the container.
